I am just wanting to tell you my happy/sad story about your leash.
When I was 12 years old I saved up my allowance to buy my dog (a coyote/shepard cross) a flexi leash. I could only afford one of the smaller ones and got a flexi 2-8 (8 meter/26 feet made in West Germany).
I loved this leash. It taught that dog how to stay with me on my pony at that time. I am now 35 years old (so 23 years later) and just got a new dog a Rat Terrier and started to use the same leash on him. The leash has been used on 6 dogs over these past 23 years...
